Anyway, I think I may be able to help you a bit as well. Last week at LDS I found a listing for a book on the Newcomer family of Fayette County, with a section on the Snyder family connection. I wasn't sure what the Newcomer/Snyder connection was, but now you've made that clear as well. Have you seen this book already? Do you have access to a LDS center? I found the record doing a search under "Snyder," but I'm sure it could be easily accessed under a "Newcomer" surname search. I'm going to LDS this week and could get you the exact title of the book if you'd like.
