    3. Faith SWARTZ Willson, age 91, of Fayette City, Pa., died Tuesday, January 13, 2004, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born May 17, 1912, at Franklin Township, Pa., daughter of the late Charles and Anna GAREE SWARTZ. Faith was the last immediate member of her family. She was predeceased by her husband, John M. WILLSON; sisters, Elizabeth SWARTZ and Doris S. Zorb; and brother, James Malon SWARTZ. Faith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James A. WILLSON and Dolores E. Willson; grandchildren: Patrick Adam WILLSON, of Millsboro, Pa., currently serving with the U.S. Army, James Matthew WILLSON, attending Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., and Pierce Brown WILLSON, at home at Redstone Farm in Fayette City, Pa.; a great-granddaughter, Madison Hope WILLSON; nieces: Kathleen SWARTZ Thompson of Central, South Carolina, Nancy Komacek, of LaBelle, Pa., and Sara Jane Porter, of Cleveland, Ohio; nephew: William A. WILLSON, of Fayette City, Pa. She was also loved and respected by many cousins and grand nieces and nephews. Faith's activities and memberships include: Graduate of California State Teachers College; Teacher for 38 years in Jefferson Township and Frazier Schools; Founding Member and Secretary of Frazier Education Association; National Education Association; Pennsylvania State Association; Frazier School Board Member; Member and Elder of Little Redstone Presbyterian Church; President and Member of Frazier Community Library Board for over 20 years, where she was still active; Active in local politics and Committee person; Founding Regent of the Washington Mill Chapter of Daughters of the American Colonists; Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Elizabeth Bower No. 437 Chapter OES; Charter Member of the Fine Arts Club in Perryopolis; Member of Perryopolis Bridge Club; 4-H Leader for over 20 years; Member of Perryopolis Historical Society; Public Speaker. Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 106 E. Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., Friday from 2 to 9 p.m., where a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2004, at 11:30 a.m., in the Little Redstone Presbyterian Church, Fayette City, Pa., with the Rev. Karen L. Willis officiating and the Rev. Michael Shepard and Mr. Ross Ackinclose both co-officiating. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Frazier Community Library or the Fayette County 4-H Scholarship Fund. Unrelated to me. Just sharing a resource.
