Nello GIOVANNELLI, 80, of Perryopolis died Thursday, March 17, 1994, at 6:50 p.m. in Uniontown Hospital. He was born Dec. 23, 1913, in Belle Vernon, Pa., son of the late Ausilio and Arelia Palendria Giovannelli. He was a member of St. John's R.C. Church and The Sons of Italy both in Perryopolis and UMWA Local 9873. He is survived by his wife, Lena Reoli Giovannelli; one daughter and one son, Mrs. James (Adrienne) Palonder of Perryopolis and Gregory J. Giovannelli and his wife, Nedra, of Perryopolis R.D.1; one grandson, Charles J. Thrasher, and his wife, Naomi, of Japan; one granddaughter, Brittney Lena Giovannelli of Perryopolis R.D.1; two great-granddaughters, Patricia and Angelica Thrasher both of Japan; one sister, Mrs. John (Caroline) Berklovich of Perryopolis; three brothers, Daniel Giovannelli of Texas, Marion Giovannelli of Perryopolis, and Roy Giovannelli of Star Junction. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Alfred, and Emory Giovannelli. Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC.; Perryopolis, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John's R.C. Church, Perryopolis, with Rev. Fr. John T. Euker as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Perryopolis.
