Arthur O. HELD, Jr., 82, of Waynesburg, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at 9:15 p.m., in Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. He was born Nov. 8, 1921, in Niles, Ohio, the son of the late Dora ENNINGER Held and Arthur O. HELD, Sr. He was employed by Consolidation Coal Company, as a foreman until his retirement in 1982, from Blacksville No. 1, and was a member of Washington St. United Methodist Church in Waynesburg. Mr. Held was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, and a member of the V.F.W. Post No. 4793 in Waynesburg. Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his wife, Elizabeth CRIGHTON Held, whom he married on Jan. 26, 1946, and who died on Feb. 15, 2003; a son, Keith HELD; sisters, Rosanna Tressler and Marjorie Endlich; and brothers, Frederick HELD and William HELD. Surviving are three daughters, Rosanna Braden, of Roseland, N.J., Janet Kraynak, of Menifee, Calif., and Marge Rockwell, of Waynesburg; sons, Douglas HELD, of Waynesburg, Pa., and David HELD, of Grey, Tenn.; ten grandchildren, Monica Jones and Jason Braden, Stephen, Keith and Kristen Kraynak, Adam and Amanda HELD, and Alex, Sarah and Emily Rockwell; sisters, Louise Murray, of Greenville, Pa., and Dorothy Knepshield, of Apollo, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the MILLIKEN AND THROCKMORTON FUNERAL HOME INC., 197 North Maiden St., Waynesburg, Pa., on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Penny Adams and Fr. John Batykefer officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris, Pa. Unrelated to me. Just sharing a resource. Edward DUNLEVY
