    3. Amelia E. McVay Crawford NIGHTINGALE, 88, of Greenwich, Ohio, formerly of Perryopolis, Pa., died Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, at 10 p.m. in the home of her son. She was born Feb. 6, 1907, in Monessen, Pa., daughter of Charles B. and Eva Daugherty McVay. Mrs. Nightingale was the former owner/operator of Colonial Cleaners in Perryopolis, a member of St. James Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Fla, and a quilter for the church. She is survived by one son, William C. Crawford of Greenwich, Ohio; three granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one brother, Joseph McVay of Okmulgee, Okla. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Crawford, her second husband, Ernest Nightingale, two sisters, Mrs. Mary McIlravy and Lois Yeaton, and two step-brothers, Lee McVay and Wayne McVay. Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Perryopolis, on Monday from 12 noon until 2 p.m., the hour of service. Rev. Thomas M. Greener will officiate. Interment in Mount Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa. Not related to me. Just sharing a resource. Carole Clarke
