Caught beneath a heavy fall of slate while at work in the Royal Mine of W. J. Rainey, Inc., Stephen POLLACK, 33, was instantly killed at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday night. He is survived by his widow, Helen Pollack; two children, Edward and Marie Pollack; his father, Joseph Pollack, of Royal, and two sisters, Mrs. Mike Knizer, Youngstown, O., and Mrs. John Bryner, Pulaski, Pa. Brief services at 8:30 o'clock Saturday morning in the family residence, House 78, Royal, will be followed by requiem mass in St. Hedwig's R. C. church at Smock in charge of Rev. Fr. Bednarick.
