Walter S. CUNNARD, 69, of Harmony Township, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 1994, in Sewickley Valley Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born March 18, 1924, in Tarrs, a son of the late John and Lydia Smith Cunnard. He had been an Ambridge resident for more than 40 years. He was a retired employee of Blaw-Knox Steel, Coraopolis, and from Codo Manufacturing in Leetsdale. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the United States Navy. He was a member of the Ambridge District Sportsmen's Club. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Imgrund Cunnard; two sons, Daniel and Paul Cunnard, both of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Margaret) Romigh of Brighton Township, Mrs. David (Kathleen) Parry of Patterson Township and Beth Cunnard of Monaca; nine grandchildren; a brother, William Cunnard; six sisters, Edith Eichar, Edna Ganter, Margaret Gibb, Dorothy White, Leona Furin and Eileen Kowinski. He was predeceased by one grandson, Danile Cunnard (1988); three brothers and four sisters. He was buried in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township. Not related to me.
