I have lots of info on Downer and Downard lines, however looking in the 1850 census in Wharton Twp I find. James Snyder age 56 Pa Mary age 54 Pa Lewis M age 22 Pa Margaret age 20 Pa Elizabeth Neamon age 21 German there is only this one line of Snyder in Wharton in 1850 census, and they done have a son name John Snyder born abt 1846? I done have a Springer Jonathan Downer married to Drusilla B I do have a Jonathan Downer married to Drusilla Springer and they have a dau Drusilla married to Jonathan R West! First I though this Drusilla B may have been Drusilla Beeson? But that wont work in my files. Do you have any more on the Downer line? Hello John, The Drusilla Downer who married John Snyder was the granddaughter of Jonathan Downer and Drusilla Springer. As I wrote this Drusilla is the daughter of Springer Jonathan Downer and his wife Eliza Wiggins. I am the archivist for the Dennis Springer family and am preparing the Springer family book. So am working to bring the lines down. If you have researched the Drusilla Downer who was married to Jonathan Rowland West I would be happy to do a data exchange. Go ahead and send a GEDCOM to me. It will be a while before I can check it though as I have about 8 people in line ahead of you.
