    3. Hazel V. Fortney, 89, of Greensboro, Pa., formerly of Cheyenne, Wyo., died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, in Colville Personal Care Home, Masontown, Pa. She was born in Kingwood, W.Va., on Aug. 3, 1914, the daughter of the late James Wesley MESSENGER and Sara Elizabeth BURCH Messenger. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Foster H. FORTNEY, whom she married on Feb. 16, 1934, and who died on Oct. 26, 2003; brothers, Charles MESSENGER, Perry DeWITT, Tom DeWITT and Arthur DeWITT; and sisters, Anne and Rue DeWITT. Hazel was a retired nurses' aide. She also did war-related factory work during World War II. She was a member of the Greensboro Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, David FORTNEY and wife, Shirley, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two grandchildren, Richard and Paul FORTNEY; and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Paul M. Lesako Funeral Director Supervisor, Carmichaels, Pa., on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Donald Gillenwater officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels, Pa Unrelated to me. Just sharing a resource. Edward DUNLEVY
