Bessie L. BUFFER, 78, of Greensburg, died Thursday, July 2, 1987 in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Nov. 14, 1908, in Smithdale, daughter of the late George and Wyona Susan Fleet Knight. Surviving are a brother, Charles L. Knight of Connellsville, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank L. Buffer in 1970; a brother, William Knight, and five sisters, Wyona, Edith, Clara, Rebecca, and Beatrice. Funeral services were held today at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert A. Free officiating.
