Elizabeth Anne BETCHEY, of Grays Landing, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1994 in Fairfield's Personal Care Home, Fairchance. She was born Jan. 9, 1906 in Cheat Neck, W.Va., daughter of the late George and Maude Lewellen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Martin Betchey; a daughter, Ina Claire (Betchy) Duncan; a son Ronald Betchy; and two sisters, Donna Lewellen and Jessie King. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Jessie Selina (Betchy) Szerensci of Grays Landing; a son, William Lee Betchey of White Plains, Minn.; a sister, Ella Ramsey of Fairchance, formerly of Cheat Neck W.Va. with whom Elizabeth had made her home for several years; seven grandchildren; Eileen Haynie, Marlene Brown, Jodiene Szerensci, Linda Torkleson, Mark Betchey, Bret Betchey, and Martin Betchy; and nine great grandchildren. Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 515 N. Main St., Masontown, today from 1 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 11 a.m., the hour of service with Rev. Cecil Rhodes officiating.
