Gerald M. SPEGAR, 56, of Uniontown, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1994, at Uniontown Hospital. He was born May 31, 1938, in Uniontown, a son of the late Michael J. and Stephanie Slezak Spegar. He was a 1956 graduate of St. John's High School and a 1960 graduate of St. Vincent College. He was president of the former Spegar Poultry Inc. and was currently co-owner of Outdoors Ltd. of Uniontown and Morgantown, W.Va. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church of Uniontown, the Fayette County Senior Golf League and the Springdale Gold Club Church League. He was also a former head coach for the St. John's Grade School Golden Eagle basketball team and was a Geibel Catholic High School golf booster. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Sally Opperman Spegar; four children, Christine Frankhouser of Uniontown, Shelly Ann Perkins of Allentown, and Sandee and Garrett Spegar, both at home; four grandchildren; one brother, Eugene Spegar of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
