John C. DeLEON, 60, of 120 Newport St., Connellsville, died early today at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born April 2, 1927 in Connellsville, son of the late Paul and Anna Kofler (?) DeLeon Jr. He was a lifelong resident of Connellsville. He was employed by CSX Railroad (Chessie System) as a caller/clerk (?), where he worked for 40 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II and a former member of VFW Post No. 21. He was a member of FO Eagles No. 493 and Immaculate Conception RC Church. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Louise Thomas DeLeon; one son, the Rev. Michael (John) DeLeon OSB, parochial vicar of Sacred Heart RC Church at Jeannette; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Frances) Kimberlin of Connellsville and Mrs. John (Karen) Burleson of Mechanicsburg, and four grandchildren.
