Grace E. UHAZIE Matthews, 85, of Dunbar, Pa., died Sunday, January 18, 2004 at home. She was born May 4, 1918 in Connellsville, Pa., daughter of Joseph UHAZIE and Ann HORNE Uhazie. Grace was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Connellsville. She had been employed as a Cashier at the former G. C. Murphy Store, Connellsville, and was an avid bingo player at the Morrell Volunteer Fire Department. Her husband, Stuart A. MATTHEWS, died August 27, 1980. Also deceased are a Brother, Jim UHAZIE, Sisters, Mable Holt and Gladys Brooks, and Parents. She is survived by a Son, Stuart E. "Stu" MATTHEWS and wife Rebecca, of Connellsville; Grandchildren: Bonnie Rider and husband Howard, of Uniontown, Pa., and William MATTHEWS, of Dunbar; Great Grandchildren: Nicholas Rider and Jessica Rider; Brothers: Howard UHAZIE and wife Marie, of Connellsville and Roger UHAZIE and wife Ruby, of Texas; Sister, Faye UHAZIE Witt, Connellsville; Nieces and Nephews. Friends will be received at the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 20, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev.
