Beatrice L. GLOVER Bowser, age 84, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Thursday, January 15, 2004 in Goodwill Mennonite Home Inc., Grantsville, Maryland. She was born May 9, 1919 in Henry Clay Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of Ewing S. and Elizabeth A. WORKMAN GLOVER. Mrs. Bowser was a member of Markleysburg Church of The Brethren and the Markleysburg-Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She owned and operated a Hair Salon out of her home for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. BOWSER, in 1997, two brothers, Robert GlLOVER and William Thomas GlLOVER, and parents. She will be sadly missed by many close Friends and Neighbors! Friends were received in the RODNEY S. TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 254 Main Street, Markleysburg, Pa., on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation will be held today (Sunday, January 18) from Noon to 2 p.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Ross Glotfelty and Rev. Joe Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Asher Glade Cemetery. MHCVFD Ladies Auxiliary held a Service in the Funeral Home on Saturday at 8 p.m. Unrelated to me.
