Clifford Taft SPRINGER, 95, of Shippensburg, Pa., and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004. He was born Aug. 2, 1908, in North Union Township, in Fayette County, Pa. Mr. Springer served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Mess Sergeant with a Master Chef classification. Mr. Springer was the owner of the County Home Grill Restaurant in Uniontown, and retired as a Maintenance Superintendent of Fayette County. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church of Uniontown, Pa. Mr. Springer loved animals and was a natural teacher, and by far the best Dad a son could ever ask for. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Mary C. Springer, of Shippensburg; one son, Clifford Thomas SPRINGER, of Shippensburg; one grandson, Lee Garner SPRINGER, of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, John Todd SPRINGER, of Dover, N.H.; friends, Carrol Garner Springer and Suzanne M. Benchoff; and numerous nieces and nephews that have enriched his long life.. Arrangements were handled by the GROVE-BOWERSOX FUNERAL HOME, Waynesburg, Pa. Unrelated to me. Just sharing a resource.
