Wayne "Whitey" Jacobs, 69, of Connellsville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 20, 1934, in Mill Run, a son of the late William C. and Beulah B. Jacobs. He was Protestant by faith and a member of Albright United Methodist Church in South Connellsville. He was previously employed by the B&O Railroad and Baughmans Refuse Co. He was a member of the Sons of Columbus and Italian Independent clubs in Connellsville. Whitey is survived by a special personal friend, Ruth Ann Browning, who remained with him for 30 years; a sister, Viola McMullen of Connellsville; four brothers, Tracy Jacobs and his wife, Verna, Dorman "Red" Jacobs and his wife, Catherine, Robert "B.J." Jacobs and his wife, Joyce and Bonnie Jacobs and his wife, Cheryl, all of Connellsville; a daughter, Penny of Pittsburgh; three sons, Kenneth (Wayne) Eutsey and his wife, Darlene, Timothy Eutsey and his wife, Crystal and Bruce Lilley, all of Connellsville; and seven gr! andchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Paulette Cupp Jacobs; four sisters, Emilo, Mildred, Helen and Irene; and four brothers, Kenneth, Ira, Wilbert and Louis. Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 11 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev.
