Charles H. EARNESTY, 76 of Scottdale, R.D. 1, died early today at Frick Community Health Center, Mount Pleasant. He was born Dec. 9, 1910 in Everson, a son of the late Charles J. and Elizabeth Suttle Earnesty. He was a retired cabinet builder at Rack Engineering Co. in Connellsville with 20 years of service. He was a member of St. John RC Church of Scottdale and its senior citizens' group The Hearts of Gold. He was a member the Knights of Columbus Society in Scottdale, where he held the Grand Knight office. He was also a member of the Fourth Degree of Bishop O'Connor General Assembly No. 1127 of Connellsville and Dunbar Sons of Italy No. 833. Surviving are his wife, Mary J. Speeney Earnesty; four sons, Charles W. of Vanderbilt, R.D. 1, Joseph A. of Grand River, Ohio, Robert G. of Everson and Larry E. of Everson Valley; three brothers, Arthur of Connellsville, Milton of Mount Pleasant, and James of Connellsville; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Helkowski of Mount Pleasant, and 11 grandchildren.
