    3. William O. PETERS, 79, of Means Special Care Rest Home, Connellsville, formerly of Smithton, died Friday at Frick Community Health Center, Mount Pleasant. He was born March 10, 1907 in West Newton, a son of the late Jacob and Sophia Strulmeir Peters. He was self-employed as a farmer. Surviving are three sons, Russell of Smithton, James of Star Junction and David Peters of Wales, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Carma) Locke of Dunbar Township and Susan Peters of Connellsville; 13 grandchildren; three brothers, Frank of Greensburg, and Earnest and Jacob Peters, both of Belle Vernon, R.D. 4; and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Spronutti of Erie, Mrs. Ralph (Lena) Sorg of North Bessemer, Mrs. Wayne (Margaret) Sorg of McKeesport, Mrs. Frank (Betty) Hague of Madison and Mrs. Mike (Eleanor) Gillock of Belle Vernon, R.D. 3. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Machupa Peters, and two sisters, Martha Springer and Dora Snyder. (9/27/1987) Not related to me. Just sharing a resource. Carole Clarke
