Dorothy L. BURKE, age 74, of 1008 Virginia Avenue, Brackenridge, Pa., 15014, died Friday, January 23, 2004 at 10 p.m. in Highland Genesis Elder Care, Brackenridge, where she had been a resident for two months. Born December 23, 1929 in Brackenridge, Pa., she was the daughter of Martin BURKE and Anna VOLANSKY Burke. She lived her entire life in Brackenridge, graduated from the former Har Brack High School, had been a Production Worker for 35 years at Liberty Mirror in Brackenridge, and enjoyed Bingo. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of The Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Worship Site, Natrona Heights, Pa., the Brackenridge Legion, Tarentum V.F.W., and the Pioneer Fireman's Club in Brackenridge. Two Brothers, Robert BURKE and Martin BURKE, Nephew, Robert R. BURKE, Jr., and Parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her Sister, Barbara BURKE Lasick, of Cape Coral, Florida; two Nieces: Deborah Lasick Osborne and husband, Scott OSBORNE, of Erie, Pa., and Kelly Lasick Heflin and husband, Michael Heflin, of Cape Coral, Florida; one Nephew, Bryan Lasick, of Florida; two Great Nieces, five Great Nephews, one Great-Great Nephew; and her Caregiver, Stefie Barent, of Natrona Heights, Pa. Relatives and Friends will be received in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, Pa., 15084, Telephone-724-224-1526, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held Tuesday, January 27, at 9:30 a.m. Christian Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Worship Site, Natrona Heights, Pa.
