Mrs. Margaret Lydia Riffle, aged 84 years, three months, and 26 days, died at 8:15 o'clock Monday morning, February 4, 1935, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Rigley, 205 South Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. She was the widow of Albert RIFFLE, who preceded her in death three years, and a daughter of the late James and Margaret FOGLE BROWN. Born at Messmore, German Township, Pa., Mrs. Riffle spent practically her entire life there. Surviving are: Samuel L. RIFFLE, of Messmore; Mrs. Walter Jeffries, of New Salem, Pa.; Mrs. John King, Morgantown Road, Uniontown, Pa., and Mrs. Mary Rigley; two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe Campbell, of Fairbank, Pa., and Mrs. John Bennett, East Millsboro, Pa. Leaving the Rigley residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the funeral cortege will proceed to Jacobs Lutheran Church, Masontown, Pa., for services in charge of the pastor, Rev. F. C. H. Scholz.
