David M. WELTY, 46, of 626 Garfield Ave., Scottdale, died Friday at Forbes Regional Health Center, Monroeville. He was born May 30, 1940 in Scottdale, son of Mrs. Effie Nez Welty of Winchester, Va., and the late Melvin Welty, who died in 1980. He was a graduate of Scottdale Joint High School Class of 1958. He was employed as an engineering aid at Powerex in Youngwood for the past 20 years. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Scottdale, Scottdale Lodge No. 777 BPOE and Scottdale Lodge No. 194 LOOM. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamala J. Grubich Welty; two daughters, Rebecca Lee and Bethany Marie Welty, both at home; a stepson, William G. Fultz, at home; a step-daughter, Christin Fulz, at home; and one sister, Mrs. James (Melinda Sue) Robertson of Winchester, Va. (2/27/1987) Not related to me. Just sharing a resource. Carole Clarke
