Lillian A. ANDREWS Girod, 80, a lifelong resident of Masontown, Pa., died Saturday, January 17, 2004 in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born on January 28, 1923 in Masontown, Pa., daughter of Joseph F. ANDREWS, Sr. and Anna BOYCHECK Andrews. Lillian was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Masontown. Her husband, Payton J. GIROD, sister Marguerite Dillow, and brother Robert ANDREWS, and parents preceded her in death. She is survived by five children: James P. GIROD, of Masontown, Pa., Jeffrey A. GIROD and wife, Mary Jo, of Uniontown, Pa., Kathleen G. Plasko and husband, Charles "Pye" PLASKO, of Carmichaels, Pa., Richard J. GIROD and wife, Linda, of Uniontown, Pa., and Gerald J. "Budzoo" GIROD and wife, Michelle, of Washington, Pa.; nine grandchildren: John P. GIROD, Christopher J. GIROD, Jennifer R. GIROD, Matthew J. GIROD, Megan E. GIROD, Zachary R. GIROD, Anna Mary GIROD, Payton J. GIROD and Ryan J. GIROD; a brother, Joseph F. ANDREWS, Jr. and wife, Madgelene, of Masontown, Pa.; two sisters: Dorothy Scott, of Bridgeville, Pa., and Alma Shalvarjian and husband, Haig, of Cupertino, California; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, "Lucky." Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 20, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said. A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, with Rev. Fr. James F. Bump as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Saint Agnes Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
