Thelma E. HUGHES, 57, of 807 Run Ave., Connellsville, died Tuesday at Uniontown Hospital. She was born March 6, 1930 at Cresson, Pa., a daughter of the late Allen D. and Catherine Stevens Hughes. She was a retired employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the Connellsville State General Hospital. She attended Calvary Assembly of God Church. Surviving are two brothers, Jesse J. Hughes of Connellsville and Melvin D. of Magadore, Ohio; five sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Olive) Sage of Clinton, Md., Mrs. Ellen Heater and Mrs. Paul (Faye) McCauley, both of Connellsville, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Lyons of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Vincent (Charlotte) Messina of Philadelphia.
