List, I have a question: Where can someone get a well over 100 year old birth certificate which has fallen into pieces professionally restored. It is about 15 inches X 10 inches and where can you get a Bible restored, also. Thanks, Doraine
You may wish to call the State Archives of your state and see if they can recommend someone. I know that place we send our journals to be bound does some restoration work, but it is expensive. You may wish to get more than one estimate. You want to also be assured of the fact they will use acid free paper. If you watch the Antiques Road Show, quite often they recommend ways of preservation or who to call and also if there is a reputable museum near you, you may wish to find out who does there restorations, do they send them out, or is it inhouse work On Thu, 15 Jan 2004 DRDMADD@aol.com wrote: > List, > > I have a question: > > Where can someone get a well over 100 year old birth certificate which has > fallen into pieces professionally restored.
