Mabel G. MILLER Bierer, 89, of Smithfield, Pa., died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, in Laurel Ridge Nursing Home, Uniontown, Pa. She was born Dec. 13, 1914, in Brownfield, Pa., daughter of the late Thomas A. MILLER and Maggie E. WILSON Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell BIERER; a daughter, Emily Marietta; one son, Walter BIERER; five sisters, Jessie Miller, Hazel Wilson, Margaret Bell, Elizabeth Welker and Elsie Golden; and two brothers, Alvin D. MILLER and Thomas E. MILLER. Surviving are two children, Lawrence BIERER and his wife, Eloise, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and James BIERER and his wife, Nancy, of Columbia, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mildred Smith, of Uniontown, Pa., Florence Blaney, of Ocean Side, Calif., and Lucille Geary, of Laurel, Md. Mabel was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Smithfield, Pa., She worked as a seamstress for many years at Benson's and Crane's Men Store in Uniontown, and also at Moser's Grocery Store in Smithfield. The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church St., Fairchance, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, until 10 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Robert C. Ford officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa. Unrelated to me. Just sharing a resource. Edward Dunlevy
