Katherine M. (Hovanic) ZOVIC, 68 of Smock, Pa., formerly of Bayville, N.J., died Monday, July 17, 1995, in Brownsville Hospital. She was born March 20, 1927, in Smock; daughter of the late John and Katherine (Janesko) Hovanic. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zovic in 1962; a brother, Stephen Hovanic; and two sisters, Helen McCrory and Pauline Dooley. She was a member of St. Hedwig R.C. Church, Smock, Pa., and a retired employee of Western Electric and AT&T Manufacturing Company. She was also a member of the AARP. Surviving are a brother, John Hovanic of Smock, Pa.; two sisters, Mary Vargo of Grindstone, Pa., and Ann Sumberaze of Long Island, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 139 West Fayette St., Uniontown, Pa., today from 5 to 9 p.m., and Friday until 9:15 a.m., when a prayer service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Hedwig R.C. Church at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Edward J. Kretz as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Hedwig Church Cemetery, Smock, Pa. Not related to me. Just sharing a resource. Carole Clarke
