Edgar F. GOODWIN, 84, of Normalville, died Saturday in Highlands Hospital and Health Center, Connellsville. He was born March 4,1904 at York Run, son of the late Joseph and Jane Louise Maust Goodwin. He was a resident of Normalville most of his life. He was a former coal miner, and a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a life member of VFW Post 21 of Connellsville, and a member of Donegal American Legion. He was a member of FO Eagles #493 of Connellsville. He is survived by his wife, Frances Kemp Goodwin; five sons, Jesse, Edgar, Thomas, Gerald and Rick, all of Normalville; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Sandra Lee) Critchfield of Champion, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Clyde Goodwin of Collier. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ray and Bob Goodwin; three sisters, Nancy King, Martha Huntley and Lydia Goodwin, and two great-grandchildren. (9/10/1988 - Normalville) Not related to me.
