Ralph F. Patterson, 64, of Adelaide, Connellsville, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, in Highlands Hospital and went to be with his Lord. He was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Connellsville, a son of the late Earl E. and Ruth P. Piper Patterson. He was Protestant by faith. He was formerly employed by the B&O Railroad. He is survived by a son, Ralph Patterson of Gettysburg; a special cousin, Ronnie Bee and his wife, Pheroba of Adelaide and several other cousins; and a very close and special friend, Gladys Taxacher and her boyfriend, Bill Thompson of Dunbar. Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 10 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Charles Whipple officiating. Interment will be private.
