Myron Lee "Ham" CONNER, 80, of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, January 15, 2004 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born November 11, 1923 in Elyria, Ohio. Mr. Conner was a Veteran of World War II who served honorably in the United States Army. He had been a Welder for several years for the former Fruehauf Corporation in Uniontown, Pa., retired from the Filbert Shop of United States Steel Corporation, and had attended Grace Brethren Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, John Albert CONNER and Rhea HAMILTON Conner, and a sister, Geraldine J. CONNER. Mr. Conner was the sole surviving member of his family. He will be missed by his many friends, especially his good friend, Jean Lucas. Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, January 19, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev.
