REDDY, JOSEPH V, 50, 437 Bartola St. Scott Twp, and formerly of Brownsville died May 23, 1976 in St. Clair Memorial Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was associated with the National Maritime Union, AFL-CIO for 19 years and for the past 13 years had been the Union's Pittsburgh Port Agent. He is the son of MRS. HELEN REDDY of Brownsville. He is survived by his wife, MRS. MILDRED H. REDDY, four daughters, MRS. LINDA JOHNS, MRS. MARYELLEN VIRGI, BETH ANN REDDY and BARBARA REDDY; and two sons, WILLIAM and TIMOTHY. MAY 21, 1976, a general alarm fire, fanned by high winds destroyed 7 buildings and heavily damaged 12 others in the heart of the McKeesport Business District. Damage at over $1,000,000. MR. and MRS. FLOYD CORNELL, Champion, whose 50th anniversary was an event of May 28, 1976, commenorated the event with an "open house" at the Ridge Community Center at White. MRS. CORNELL is the former AUDREY WASSON, daughter of the late MR. and MRS. WILLIAM WASSON, Brownsville. MR. CORNELL is the son of the late MR. and MRS. HARVEY CORNELL, California. There were married in the home of the bride's parents. MRS. CORNELL formerly taught at St. Clair Elementary School, Brownsville Twp. McANDREWS, HARRY, 49, of Covington, LA, formerly of Brownsville, died suddenly at his home, May 31, 1976. He was born Oct. 5, 1926, in Brownsville, the son of MRS. VIOLA SNYDER McANDREWS and the late HARRY McANDREWS. He was a graduate of West Virginia University and was a geologist employed by the U.S. Government. He was a veteran of WWII. Survivors in addition to his mother, include his wife, MRS. LUCILLE HARGSIN McANDREWS, three children, ELLEN, SCOTT and SUSAN; a sister, MRS. META EDWARDS, and a brother, LT. COL. CHARLES McANDREWS. Funeral services will be in Louisiana. DANIEL PASCARELL, son of FRANK and JOSEPHINE PASCARELL of Hiller, is a professional chef at the Myrtle Beach Hilton Hotel in South Carolina. He recently completed a 2 year culinary course at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. SALVESON, MRS. MARY, 74, 406 Front St, Brownsville, died May 31, 1976 in Brownsville General Hospital. She ws born Oct. 15, 1901, in Brownsville, the daughter of the late J. HENRY and ELIZABETH RAGER STOREY. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Brownsville. She was formerly employed at Kart's Department Store and Greggs Beverage, Brownsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, CHARLES SALVESON. Survivors include a son, CHARLES SALVESON, two sisters, MRS. CHARLES BROWN and MRS. VIRGINIA SHEEHAN; two brothers, JOHN and SAMUEL STOREY. MARTHA MITCHELL, 57, estranged wife of former ATTORNEY GENERAL JOHN MITCHELL died May 31, 1976, in New York, alone and destitute. She will be buried in her home town of Pine Bluff, AR. Death was caused by multiple myeloma. MULLIGAN, MRS. BERNADETTE, 302 Catherine Ave., Brownsville, died June 2, 1976 in Mt. St. Macrina Manor, Uniontown following a lenghty illness. She was the widow of DR. ROBERT A. MULLIGAN, Brownsville. She was born in Jefferson, a daughter of the late VERNON and CECELIA BRUCKNER WALLACE. She was a member of St. Peter's R.C. Church, Brownsville. She attended Seton Hill College, Greensburg and later taught in the Greene County Schools. She was a member of the Brownsville Garden Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include a son, DR. WALLACE MULLIGAN; two grandchildren, MICHAEL and REBECCA MULLIGAN, three sisters, MRS. GERALDINE JOHNSON, MRS. REGINA GLENNON, and MRS. CELESTINE MORROW; and a brother, WILLIAM WALLACE. ESTEL KNISLEY, Brownsville, enjoyed a weekend of motorcross racing at Honda Hills, near Linnville, OH. He finished second overall. DAVIDSON, VERNON, 77, 440 Telegraph Road, Brownsville, died June 5, 1976 at Washington Hospital, Washington, PA. He was born July 20, 1898 in Grindstone, PA, son of the late AMOS W. and HULDA VERNON DAVIDSON and was a lifelong resident of Fayette County. He was a member of Dunlap United Presbyterian Church, Merrittstown and a member of Hopewell Grange, No. 1114. He had practiced dentistry for more than 50 years in Brownsville. He was born May 18, 1894, in Bellwood, PA, the son of the late CALVIN KINGSLEY and CARRIE RAUGH ELDER. He was a graduate of South Brownsville High School and also of Franklin and Marshall College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry. He was an Army veteran of WWI and a member of the Chillicothe, OH F. & A.M., and a member of A. Kramer Axton, American Legion Post 295, Brownsville. He was a past president of the Fayette County Dental Society, a member of the Pennsylvania Odontological Society, a past president of the Brownsville Rotary Club, a member of Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church, and was treasurer for many years of the Session of the former First Presbyterian Church of Brownsville. Survivors include a son, ROBERT R. ELDER, JR., a daughter, MRS. FLORENCE E. KISINGER; a brother, DR. HERMAN K. ELDER. He was preceded in death by his wife, RUTHANNE HIBBS ELDER in 1973. Burial in Redstone Cemetery under the direction of the J.W. Kisinger Funeral Home, Brownsville. FRANKS, ABE, 39, of 508 High St., Brownsville, was killed in the crash of a tractor-trailor on Route 220 in Bedford County. He was the son of MRS. NELLIE BIDDLE FRANKS and the late WALTER FRANKS. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, NANCY JANE SAXE, five children, NELLIE JANE, ABE JR, TAMMY, RHONDA, and KENNY; five sisters, MRS. LUCINDA FEENEY, MRS. MARTHA SWEARINGEN, MRS.
