Joseph A. "Tubby" ALTOMARI , 76, of Scottdale (formerly of Belle Vernon), Pa., passed away at 11:35 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg, Pa. Joe retired in 1986 after working for 40 years as a millwright with Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen, Pa. He graduated from Monessen High School. Joe will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 51 years, Lena M. Giacomantonio Altomari, whom he married on Nov. 15, 1952; his daughter, Roxanne M. Markle and husband, Dr. Howard MARKLE, of Scottdale; his son, Kevin J. ALTOMARI and wife, Dawn Gideon, of Pittsburgh; a granddaughter; two sisters, Elizabeth Codispoti, of Detroit, Mich., and Marie ALTOMARI, of Monessen, Pa.; two brothers, Alfred ALTOMARI and wife, Stella, of Lorain, Ohio, and Eugene ALTOMARI and wife, Rita, of Monessen; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Harry Jarouse, of Belle Vernon. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the Robert B.
