Michael C. STANCHIN, 74, of Uniontown, died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Sept. 22, 1912 at Orient, a son of the late Simon and Mary Stanchin. He was a member of UMWA Robena 6321 and was employed by U.S. Steel. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Oglethorpe Stanchin; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Mary Louise) Yarris and Mrs. Ronald (Kathleen) Brant, both of Uniontown; a son, Michael, of South Bend, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Katherine Pahula of Uniontown.
