    3. Gerald Blair KING, 85, of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., and formerly of Hopwood-Fairchance Road, Uniontown, Pa., died Friday, March 8, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital, Chesapeake, Va. He was born June 13, 1910, in Montgomery Township, Indiana County, Pa., son of Maylon L. and Millie Viola PALMER KING. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Lucille HUGH King to whom he would have been married 61 years on March 11, his brother, Marion KING, and his sister, Abbie Wheeler. He is survived by his son, Norman E. KING and wife, Gerry, of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., three grandchildren, David Alan KING, of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., Melissa Courtney, of Morgantown, W.Va., and Mrs. Billy (Joyce) Essick, of King, N.C., five great-grandchildren, and his brother, Bernard KING, of Beaver Falls, Pa. Gerald was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairchance and King's Mens Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church St., Fairchance, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 12, in First Baptist Church of Fairchance from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. William Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Gideon Living Memorial Bible Plan, %Fayette County Gideons, Post Office Box 465, Hopwood, PA 15445.
