Agnes SOLAK, 98, of Norvelt, died Tuesday at Frick Community Health Center, Mount Pleasant. She was born Jan 1, 1889 in Poland, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Josephine Kiel Giernacky. She was a member of St. Stanislaus RC Church of Calumet and its Rosary Society. She lived in Norvelt for 52 years. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Theodore (Josephine) Kellner of Ligonier, Sophie, Martha and Beatrice, all at home, Mrs. Thomas (Bridget) Kitta of Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. Patsy (Florence) Conte of Greensburg; two sons, Walter of Antioch, Calif., and Robert Solak of Norvelt; 22 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 1959; a daughter, Mrs. Stella Frederick, in 1976, and a son, Frank, in 1983. (1/6/1987 - St. Stanislaus) Not related to me. Just sharing a resource.
