Altha Eugene "Skeeter" GUSEMAN, 56, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. He was born July 11, 1947, in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late Altha Homes GUSEMAN and Betty Lou BARNHART Guseman. Surviving are his wife, JoAnn FRANTZ Guseman and two children, Michelle Elaine GUSEMAN, of San Leandro, Calif., and Michael Eugene GUSEMAN, at home; one sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Harold Tawney, of Smithfield, Pa.; one nephew, Harold Tawney, III, of Michigan; his mother-in-law, Blanche Frantz, of Markleysburg; one aunt, Beverly David and husband, Allen; one uncle, Robert BARNHART and wife, Joyce, all of Uniontown; and three very special pets that he enjoyed and loved, Rusty, Damion and Lenny, and they will miss him. He was a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Uniontown and Frick Hospitals for 30 years, was a graduate of Penn State University, and served in the U.S. Air Force as a Medic. He has previously been assistant Scout Master at Chalk Hill, Pa., and his favorite past time was the outdoors and the time he spent hunting. Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF FARMINGTON, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m., and Friday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Neil A. Stevens officiating.
