Pennsylvania's Governor Ed Rendell, Lynn Swan, of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who played in 4 of the Steelers Super Bowl wins, and was most valuable player in one. The booths will provide foods, crafts and children's activities. There will be an antique automobile show on Arch Street in front of city hall and the Connellsville Post Office. The bicentennial headquarters, located in the Professional Building, along Crawford Avenue and Arch Street. will be open 2 to 5 p.m. today; 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday. At the headquarters is a HOBO model railroad layout, a display by the Connellsville Historical Society, several private Connellsville collections and wooden nickels which are on sale, along with T-shirts, sweatshirts, and mugs. Saturday's schedule = 11 a.m., parade beginning at Newmyer and South Pittsburgh streets and ending at Seventh Street = 1:15 p.m., Rotary Clock dedication at Connellsville City Hall At the main stage at the former Burns Drug Store: = 1:45 p.m., opening remarks by Mayor Judy Reed, Bicentennial Committee President Ben Haines and Hall-of-Fame Pittsburgh Steeler and Republican gubernatorial candidate Lynn Swann = 2 to 3 p.m., Harold Betters = 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., Journeymen = 6:30 to 8 p.m., Brass Knuckles.
