Mr. Dearth was a great help in helping me locate several gravesites I had a hard time finding. I have only been researching the Lilleys for the past 2 years as I didn't know that I was a Lilley decendant as I was told my grandfather had been adopted.Well he in a wayhe was by my G-Grandma Kates husband but he was her biological child. Thanks to a wonderful lady in the Uniontown area ( Beverly Domer) helped me figure it all out. He was born out of wedlock and named Mathias Franklin Stauffer. He then was Mathias Franklin Lilley as time passed. When he was about 15 she married Charles Weimer (son of George Wymer ) and my Grandfather took his name turned it to Franklin Mathias Weimer Hence my father was born a Weimer.Once that door was opened I 've been doing a lot of research as to my roots of the Lilleys . Have received so much help from fellow researchers of the names. Its a small world as I believe you said your G-Grandmother Lydia! 's mother was a Pastorius and I found in court record that my G-Grams sister Lydia married a pastorius and it was at her home per my Gram Kates obit that she passed.I took a hiatus and headed to Uniontown and spent 3 mths researching and obtaining documentation. Have not sorted all and put into any format my findings. I went and met living cousins that had Mathias and Jane Lilley as G=Grandparents-was wonderful meetings. I am confused now on this Thos. Lilley as I only found sitings of him in the census. no where in W.V. as that is where I found F.A.Lilley as Mathias' father. Well sry for rambling on just thought we could make a connection for all. Once again thank you for your time as the rest of the researchers too. Sherry had sent me all that wonderful info from Jane and it helped lead my path on my journey. I hope to be able to go back north in a few months but want to sort through what I have so I know what other factuals I need to look for(sure hope some day my g! randchildren will appreciate this he-he) . God Bless--Ellagrace
