I think that Susan Lilley and my great grandmother Harriet Lilley (m. James Brownfield) were sisters. That would make Susan's son John Wesley Fisher, Jr a cousin to Harriet's daughter Mary. John Wesley Fisher Mary Elizabeth Fisher m. ??? your parent you I hope this makes sense. I think that something happened in the families of Thomas A. Lilley and his brother Francis Asbury Lilley. I see where some of the children are living with Thomas (1860 census) and then with Francis (1870 census). In the 1880 census there are even more kids. Plus to make things even more confusing, there were 3 different Lydia's as their wives. I was trying to patch these families together last night and was up past midnight when I finally had to give it up. I'll try to put something together with how I think they fit together.
