Paul Chester WOLFE Sr., 71, of Ridgeview Apartments, Mount Pleasant, died Sunday in Frick Community Health Center, Mount Pleasant. He was born Feb. 24, 1917, in Dawson, a son of the late Elizabeth and Harvey Wolfe. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Robertshaw Controls Co. of New Stanton. He attended Norvelt Union Church, and was a World War II veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alice Baldwin Wolfe; three sons, Paul C. Jr. and Charles Wolfe, both of Greensburg, and Robert Wolfe of Newville; three daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Elizabeth) Webb of State College, Mrs. James (Judith) Downham of United and Mrs. David (Linda) Barrick of Weltytown; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, David Kinneer; two brothers, Delmar and Charles Wolfe; and one grandson. (12/25/1988) Not related to me.
