John Howard KYLE, 60, of Merrittstown, Pa., beloved son of Marion Jean Kyle, of Merrittstown, and the late Andrew Robert KYLE, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa., with complications from pneumonia. Born Nov. 22, 1943, he was a lifelong resident of Merrittstown, a former Herald Standard carrier, and a member of the First Christian Church of Republic, Pa. John was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Andrew KYLE and James Edward KYLE; and his father. In addition to his mother, he is survived by the following sisters and brothers, Gail Arlene Hixon, of Gaithersburg, Md., Eileen KYLE Miller, of Bridgeville, Pa., C. Keith KYLE, of Uniontown, R. Kirk KYLE, of Merrittstown, and Kent C. KYLE, of Uniontown; and several other extended family members. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at 11 a.m., in the First Christian Church of Republic, Pa., with the Rev. J. W. Hormell and the Rev. Thomas N. LOGSTON, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the First Christian Church of Republic at: PO Box 811, Republic, PA 15475.
