Helen KUBINA, Age 79 years of Perryopolis, R.D. 1, died Tuesday, July 14, 1987 at 8:30 a.m., in the Brownsville Hospital. She was born May 27, 1908 in Mount Springs, Pa., the daughter of the late John and Helen Pocono. She is survived by her husband, Mike Kubina; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Juliet) Haller of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Maransky of Brookhaven, Pa. and Mrs.. Julia Lasco of Montoursville, Pa. she assisted in the raising of 44 foster children over a 25-year period. Friends will be received in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Inc., Perryopolis this evening from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. Brother Murhl Howland and Brother Robert Flippo will officiate.
