Thomas McCARTNEY died at his home near Farmington, Tuesday, January 17, 1933 at 3:15 a.m. Mr. McCartney was a son of the late Nicholas and Martha Brownfield McCartney and was born in the old McCartney Tavern, one mile east of Farmington, February 15, 1856.
