Bernard L. Richardson, 68, of 325 Euclid Ave., Brownsville, Pa., passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at the Brownsville General Hospital, Brownsville, Pa. Mr. Richardson was retired from the Corning Glass Works in Charleroi, Pa., in 1998. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Jackson Tarpley Richardson of Brownsville, Pa.; 11 sons, Bernard L. Richardson Jr., of Uniontown, Pa., Howard and Leslie M. Tarpley, both of Brownville, Pa., Derrick L. Tarpley of Ronco, Pa., Richard Tarpley of Erie, Pa., Robert Tarpley and wife, Julia of Maryland, Samuel Tarpley of Massachusetts, Michael Tarpley of Masontown, Pa., Bertram Tarpley and Kent Tarpley and wife, Donna, all of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Keith Tarpley and wife, Felicia of Columbus, Ohio; four daughters, Donna Wallace and husband, Jonathan of Uniontown, Pa., Lisa Prophete and husband, Donald of Kansas, Marlene White and husband, Millard of Maryland, and Debra Washington and husband, Sylvester of Ambridge, Pa.; six brothers, Tellis Binford and wife, Dorothy of Warren, Ohio, Allen Binford of Akron, Ohio, Hillard Richardson and wife, Magnolia and Morris, Clarence and Lloyd Richardson, all of Bridgeville, Pa.; six sisters, Ruth Richardson of Morgan, Pa., Toni Binford and Clara Stephens, both of Pittsburgh, Pa., Jackie Hutchison and Kate Davis and husband, Rick, all of Carnegie, Pa., and Dolly Lowe and husband, Perry of Kent, Ohio; his mother-in-law, Mary K. Jackson of Brownsville, Pa.; an aunt; and a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. Friends will be received at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Baltimore Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, from 5 to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 at 11 a.m., the hour of service.
