    3. Hi Ellen and others, The complaints about receiving obituaries on this list is a dead issue. I handled this properly last week, and the thread ended. I gave what options I knew existed. Those were the comprimises. Let this be a warning for all who want to keep harping about obituaries. They are on topic and perfectly acceptable for this list, and I am going to start unsubscribing anyone who fans the flames of this issue. I would imagine that three weeks in the reject hole should bring about a positive change in attitude. Make my day! 3. Dear Ed, This is Ellen (ETHS) here & not Ellen Levy. I had just written a reply to the site after only reading part of the messages on here. I have no problem with the obits on here at all. However, I have noticed some things & would like to try to help you be constructive about the future of this site, which is a good one. Please read over what I wrote & maybe we can work together privately as people who know a bit more about what's going on, the purpose of the site, etc. You & I have disagreed more than once & I've come very close to unsubscribing. Also - on a personal note - people that don't know you very well react differently to remarks made on here. I know your heart is in the right place & that sometimes you are just trying to get the point across, but diplomacy & sugar works a lot better on the "nice people" on here. Save the "Make My Day" remarks for the private pains in the you know what! I'm saying this as a friendly senior citizen who has raised 5 children & have quite a few grandchildren. Also who has been a good leader in organizations in this state. I've received mail privately from some very nice people. You have really come off to some on here that have unsubscribed as being some kind of heavy-handed egositistical show-off who's trying to feel like "Da Boss" as I hear on here. If you are really a caring person about this site, you don't want to do that. It's not the right way to go at all. You can be firm but still be a perfect gentlemen about it & will certainly come off as a better leader for it. BTW - I think the term is List Master & not List Owner (or am I wrong). If you can tolerate Bailey/Yanick on here I think you must be a good friend of his. My opinion of him is very very low. Either he's low on the intelligence pole, a mental case, or just a plain obnoxious immature kid. Let's hope this communication is going to be constructive & for the good of the list. If not, I won't hesitate to unsubscribe myself.
