Nellie Phillips SKOWRONEK, 85, of 13 Newport St., Connellsville, died Saturday at Highlands Hospital and Health Center. She was born June 9, 1903, at Leisenring No. 1, daughter of the late Anthony J. and Agnes Pasierb Phillips. She was owner/operator of Phillips Grocery Store of Connellsville. She was a member of Holy Trinity RC Church and Connellsville Senior Citizens group. Surviving are her husband, Stanley Skowronek; a son, Theodore A. Phillips of Pennhook, Va., two stepsons, Eugene Skowronek of Uniontown and Robert Skowronek of Connellsville; a stepdaughter, Martha Ann Kupets of Republic; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 15 stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Elizabeth) Rulli and Valeria Phillips, both of Connellsville, Mrs. Charles (Eleanor) Rounds of Newbury Port, Mass., and Mrs. Joseph (Florence) Corrado of Elkhart, Ind.
