Caught beneath a fall of slate while at work in the Filbert Mine of the H. C. Frick Coal Company, Michael FLINTOSH, aged 54, of New Salem, was instantly killed at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning, November 7, 1934. He is survived by his widow, Katherine Flintosh; seven children; Mrs. Katherine Magerko, of New Salem; John Flintosh, of McAdoo; Joseph of fort Sam Houston, Texas; Michael, Jr., of Jersey City, N.J.; Stephen, Andrew and Theodore Flintosh, at home; a brother John of Campbell, O.; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Harin, of Leisenring No. 1.
