Regina BECKER Buchheit, 82, of Merrittstown, Pa., passed away Friday, January 30, 2004 in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born November 5, 1921 in Lower Tyrone Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of John J. BECKER and Elizabeth LECHNER Becker. Regina was a member of The Church of The Madonna in Cardale, Pa., and a Charter Member of The Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley James Buchheit in 1983, sons, Kenneth, in 1997 and James Craig Buchheit in infancy, two grandchildren, Jon C. Buchheit and Angela Mattis, sisters, Bernadine King, Genevieve Foster, Anna Forgach, brothers, John Becker Jr. and William Becker, and parents. Surviving are sons: Edward Buchheit and wife Geraldine of Thompson One, Pa., David Buchheit and wife Debra of Wickliffe, Ohio, John Buchheit and wife Sandra of Merrittstown, Pa., and Joseph Buchheit and wife Tammy of LaBelle, Pa.; a daughter-in-law, Janice Buchheit of Mayfield Heights, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters: Madeline Lohr of Florida, Rosella Vanaman of Riverside, California, and Gertrude Vlosich of Allison, Pa.; and a brother, James Becker of Pulaski, Pa. Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, February 2, until 10 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10:30 a.m. in The Church of The Madonna, Cardale, with Rev. Fr. Stephen Bugay as Celebrant. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. Visitation was also held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Parish Wake Service was held in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 3 p.m. Unrelated to me. Just sharing a resource. Edward Dunlevy
