Joseph J. SIWULA, 66, of 117 Morewood St., Mount Pleasant, died today at Frick Community Health Center in Mount Pleasant. He was born Dec. 10, 1920 at Owensdale, a son of the late Walter and Josephine Szymanski Siwula. He was a member of St. Pius X RC Church of Mount Pleasant. He was a retired steelworker, having worked for the U.S. Steel Corp. at the Edgar Thompson Mill at Braddock. A veteran of WWII having served with the U.S. Army, he was a member of American Legion Post 446 of Mount Pleasant. He was also a member of the VFW Of Everson, the Firemen's Club, the Kosciuszko Club, the Hecla Sportsmen's Club, and the United Steelworkers of America Local 1219. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen O'Connor Siwula; two sons; Robert and John, both of Mount Pleasant; a daughter Terry (Mary Ann) McBeth of Scottdale; five grandchildren; three brothers, Vincent of Uniontown, and Theodore and Leo of Scottdale; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Catherine Stempniak of Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. Agnes Kramer of Scottdale.
