Frances Carmella GRANT Zack, 87, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 29, 2004 in her home. Born February 2, 1916 in Revere, Fayette County, Pa., she was the daughter of Gregory GRANT and Rosaliae LUCCI Grant. Frances was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church and The Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Campbell, her brother, James Gregory Grant, her sister-in-law, Joanna L. Grant, and parents. Frances is survived by her loving children: Joseph G. Zack of Livingston, California, and Daniel F. Zack and wife Marjorie of Uniontown, Pa.; her granddaughter, who was her "special" angel, Brittney A. Zack; and her daughter-in-law, Yoshiko Zack. Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today, February 2, until 9 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street, Uniontown. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa. Visitation was also held Sunday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. SFO Fraternity of Saint Anthony Friary conducted Services in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 3 p.m. The Altar Society recited the Rosary on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Unrelated to me.
